Chester Blake Belcher

Chester Blake Belcher, age 71 passed away Tuesday, August 10th, 2010 at his home. Chester was born on January 25th, 1939 to his parents the late John Wesley Belcher and Norma Mullins Belcher. He was the husband of Betty Jean Burke Belcher, and a coal miner. Along with his parents, Chester was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil and Bill Belcher. Along with his wife, Chester is survived by two sons, Johnny (Lisa) Belcher of Dorton, Willie Lee (Teresa) Belcher of Seneca, S.C., one daughter Norma Jean (Mitchell) Goodson of Dorton, one brother, Davis Belcher of Dorton, one sister, Myrtle Johnson of McRoberts, Ky., eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Melinda), Whitney, Lauren, Danielle, Vicky (Ryan), Matt, Christopher, Colt, two great-grandchildren, Asia and Clay, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church Special services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday August 13th, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church with Edgar Sanders officiating. The burial will follow in the Chester Belcher Cemetery at Blaze Branch.
