Donnie Blake Weddington

Donnie Blake "Dog" Weddington age 36 passed away Saturday, Nov. 20th, 2010 in Miami, Florida. Donnie was born on Jan. 19th, 1974 to his parents Donald Weddington and Nell (Crintous) Lowe. He was the husband of Shannon Turner Weddington, and a heavy equipment operator for Power Curvers. Donnie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earnest and Dwail Williams and his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Betty Weddington. Along with his wife and parents, Donnie is survived by one son, Christopher Harley Davidson Weddington of Rockwell, N.C., Dakota Dawn Weddington of Rockwell, N.C., Kristina Weddington Goff of Island Creek, Ashya Weddington Burelson of Denton, N.C., two sisters, Angela (Jeff) Yates of Kannapolis, N.C., Katlyn Weddington of Kannapolis, N.C., two nieces Britany (D.J. Teate) Yates of Concord, N.C., Leanna Rojas of Rockwell,N.C., four nephews, Blake Yates of Kannapolis, Orlando & Jasper Rojas and Jason Hallman all of Rockwell, N.C.,and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday Nov. 26th, 2010 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Terry Gibson and Larry Mullins officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
