Jerry Kinney

Jerry Keith Kinney 49, of Shelbiana, KY passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Jerry was born October 5, 1961 in Pikeville, KY. He was the son of the late Cledis and Maxine Adkins Kinney. Along with his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by one sister, Debra Lynn Keene. He was disabled coal miner for McCoy Elkhorn Mines and a follower of the baptist faith. Jerry is survived by his wife, Judy Carol Akers Kinney, one son Jeremy Keith Kinney of Lexington, KY, one daughter, Clarissa Michelle Kinney of Chloe, KY, two step-daughters, Brandie Wagner of Ohio, and Crystal Osborne of Pikeville, KY, two brothers, Billy Kinney of Shelbiana, KY, Simon Michael Kinney of Shelbiana, four sisters, Cosba Ann Ratliff of Regina, KY, Norma Jean Ratliff of Regina, KY, Judy Carol Ratliff, of Raccoon, KY, Betty Lou Ratliff of Shelbiana, Ky, and two step-grandchildren Zachary Burgess and Micha Osborne, as well as a host of loving family and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 21, at 6 pm at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 23, at 1 PM at the funeral home chapel with Dewey Ratliff officiating. Entombment will follow in the R.H. Ratliff mausoleum at Shelbiana, KY.
