Matt Justice

Matt Justice, age 93, of Robinson Creek, KY. passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at the Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born on September 17, 1917, the son of the late Albert and Darcus Thacker Justice. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by he wife, Bessie Gibson Justice, by two brothers, Tommy and Troy Justice, and by three sisters, Vanie Sanders, Bessie Coleman, and Allie Coleman. Before his retirement, Matt worked for the Republic Steel Co. He was a member of the Long Fork Old Regular Baptist Church. He is survived by a daughter, Shelva Jean Newsome, by three sons, James R. Justice, Roger Dean Justice, and Bruce W. Justice, by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Gary Hampton, Bully Roberts, Roger Hicks and others officiating. Entombment will follow in Johnson Memorial Park. Special services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7 p.m.
