Beulah Claudette Hurley age 70 passed away Monday Nov. 24, 2008 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Beulah was born on May 23rd, 1938 to her parents the late Ovis Funk and Bonnie Dillon Funk. She was the wife of the late Darrell Hurley, a homemaker, a volunteer at the Grapevine Volunteer Fire Dept. for over 20 years, and a believer of the Church of God Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Beulah was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard Kesterson, Billy Kesterson, Dan Funk, and three sisters, Madge Sheldon, Nadine Dudley, and Wilma Ann Bishop. Beulah is survived by three sons, Eddie Hurley of Fed's Crk, Charles Hurley of Phyllis, Ky., Jerry Hurley of Kimper, Ky., one brother, Paul Funk of Ivel, Ky., two sisters, Betty Taylor of Fed's Crk, Mary Anderson of Phyllis, Ky., one special sister, Stella Williams of Belcher, Ky., eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday 11-28-2008 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
