Leona Mae Rich

Leona Mae Rich age 78, passed away Saturday, March 7th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Leona was a homemaker and a christian. She was preceded in death by one son, Gussie Lee Cole, her parents, and several brothers and sisters. Leona is survived by one daughter, Aileen Spears, six grandchildren, Michelle, Tony, Jamie, Scottie Lee, Jeff David, Ryan Keith, six great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon Dale, Preston, Caden, Brandon Lee, Macalia Ann, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral home with Tracy Patton & Tim McCoy officiating. The burial will follow in the Tackett Cemetery at Island Creek.
