Hazel A. Bartley

Hazel A. Bartley, age 72 passed away Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 at the Mt. View health Care Center. Hazel was born on Feb. 19, 1937 to her parents the late Kie Anderson and Opal Hylton Anderson. She was the wife of Chris Jr. Bartley, a homemaker,and a member of the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by one daughter, Ella Jean Little, three brothers, Arnold, Willard, and Eugene Anderson, and three sisters, Emily Chaney, Lorine Young, and Gertrude Anderson, one granddaughter, Julie Price. Along with her husband, Hazel is survived by one son, Chris (Judy) Bartley III of Rockhouse, Ky., three sisters, Betty Parsons of Marrowbone, Ky., Rosie Tucker of Red Creek, Ky., Nannie McManus of West Milton, Ohio, three grandchildren, Vicki Spears, Jason Little, and Joey Wayne Little, and three great-grandchildren, Savannah Rain Rumfield, Toby Eugene Thacker, and April Marie Spears, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday 10-17-2009 at 12 noon at the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Archie Price and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Bartley Family Cemetery.
