Feddie Newsome

Feddie Newsome age 64 passed away Saturday, 12-26-2009 at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Feddie was born on July 30th, 1945 to his parents the late Andrew Newsome and Annel Ray Newsome. He was a retired coal miner for Will Guard Land Company and a member of the Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Feddie was preceded in death by fifteen brothers and sisters. Feddie is survived by one son, Mark Newsome of King, N.C., three daughters, Kimberly Newsome of Winston Salem, N.C., Rebecca (Raymond) Akers of Caney Hwy., Vickie Newsome of Dana, Ky., three brothers, Robert Newsome of Toler, Ky., Troy Newsome of Oakwood, Va., Noah Newsome of Patterson, Va., two sisters, Ruthie Ray of Caney Hwy., Victoria Hamilton of Toler, Ky., six grandchildren, Feddie Justin Newsome, Andrew Nelson Akers, Gloria Alma Newsome, David Wayne Goins, Ruthie Victoria Akers, and Nancy Nicole Newsome, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Thursday 12-31-2009 at 1p.m. at the Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Kermit Wright and others officiating. The burial will follow in Newsome Family Cemetery on Penny Road.
