Barbara Fay Thacker

Barbara Fay Thacker age 65 passed away Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Barbara was born on Nov. 29th, 1943 to her parents the late James Monroe Robinson and Mandy Hopkins Robinson. She was the wife of Jerry M. Thacker, a former employee of Goody's, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Edward Thacker, one sister, Phyllis Billiter, and one brother, Dean Robinson. Along with her husband, Barbara is survived by three daughters, Lizabeth Thacker, Jerri Lynn Thacker, and Jamie Sue Ray all of Shelbiana, Ky., one brother, Edward Gene Robinson of Shelbiana, one sister, Mary Hampton of Dayton, Ohio, seven grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday 10-14-2009 at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special Services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Friday 10-16-2009 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Garfield Thacker and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Thacker Family Cemetery at Shelbiana.
