Ruth Fuller Blair Blackburn age 79 passed away Saturday 12-26-2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ruth was born on August 1st, 1930 to her parents the late John Fuller and Annie Rowe Fuller. She was the wife of the late Charles Blackburn and her first husband Lonzie Blair. She was a homemaker and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Along with her husbands and parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Blair Good, nineteen brothers and sisters. Ruth is survived by three sons, James Oscar Blair of Feds Creek, Jerry Blair of Kathleen, Ga., Greg Blackburn of Arentie, Mi., three daughters, Kathy Blair Bevins of Pikeville, Robin Vanhove of Holly, Mi., Dawn Clarke of Ontario, Canada, one brother, Zack Fuller of Columbus, Ohio, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, three great-great Grandchildren,and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church. The funeral will be Tuesday 12-29-2009 at 11a.m. at the Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church with J.c. Hager, David Jacobs, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery at Feds Creek.
