Larry Aster Wright

Larry Aster Wright age 62 passed away Wednesday, March 25th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on September 10th, 1946 to his parents the late Aster Wright and Lois Youngblood Wright. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Church of God. Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one grandson, Jordan Dale Wright, two sisters, Norma Jean Newsome and Anita Parsons, and one brother, Donnie Joe Wright. Larry suffered for some time with cancer but he will suffer no more. He won his fight, he has gone home to be with the Lord. He now has a new healthy body with no more pain or sorrow. He leaves behind two sons, Larry Kent (Kenny) Wright of Jenkins, Nicholas Wright of Little Robinson, two daughters, Lisa Wright of Jenkins, and Angel Bentley of Lick Fork, thirteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, Gary Wright of Dorton, Chris Wright of Robinson Creek, Herman Wright of Dorton, two sisters, Diane White of Dorton, Gaye Hall of Robinson Creek, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday 3-28-2009 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dave Hammond officiating. The burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery at Dorton.
