Ova Justice

Ova Thacker McPeek Keene Justice age 88 passed away Wednesday, 3-19-2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ova was born on May 6th, 1920 to her parents the late Robert Thacker and Millie Robinson Thacker. She was the wife of the late Perry Justice, a homemaker, and a member of Sutton Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Ova was preceded in death by three sons, Don McPeek, James McPeek, and Roger Keene, and several brothers and sisters. Ova is survived by four sons, Dolph McPeek of Kokomo, Ind., Billy Charles Keene of Sheraton, In., Robert McPeek of Shelbiana, Ky., Hillard McPeek of Shelbiana, Ky., two daughters, Shirley Slone of Pikeville, Fayetta Slone of Shelbiana, Ky., one step son, Danny R. Justice of Shelbiana, Ky., one sister, Inis Justice of Shelbiana, Ky., twenty grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, eleven step grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home The funeral will be Sunday 3-22-2009 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Scott Tackett and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Yates Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
