Georgia Francis Damron

Georgia Francis Damron age 66, passed away Wednesday March 18th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Georgia was born on September 18th, 1942 to her parents the late George Powell Damron and Erma Long Damron. She was a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Georgia is survived by one brother, Roy Lee Damron of Pikeville, two sisters, Stella Falay Patrick of Pikeville, Betty Carol Ilic of Bean Station, Tn., one niece, Angela Leigh(Robert) Hatfield of Elkhorn City, three nephews, George (Amy) Ilic of Jefferson City, Tn., Michael Damron of Lexington, Ky., Matthew Damron of Elkhorn City, Ky., three great-nephews, Jordan Chase Ilic of Whitesburg, Braden Jacob Ilic of Jefferson City, Tn., Seth Andrew Hatfield of Elkhorn City, one great-niece, Makenzie Taylor Ilic of Jefferson City, Tn., and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday 3-20-2009 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son funeral Home with Teddy Honaker, Phil Hines, Virgil Ratliff, Doug Thompson, and Burton Bentley officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
