Ervin Hylton

Ervin Hylton age 80 passed away Thursday, April 2nd, 2009 at his home. Ervin was born on December 11th, 1928 to his parents the late Jackson Hylton and Susie Hogston Hylton. He was the husband of Montie G. Fields Hylton, retired from the lumber business, and a member of the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by eight brothers an dthree sisters. Along with his wife, Ervin is survived by one son, Roger Hylton of Elkhorn City, one daughter, Susie Hylton Howell of Ashcamp, Ky., one brother, Myrda Hylton of Adams Branch Rd., three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Sunday April 5th, 2009 at 12 noon at the Glory Bound Freewill Baptist Church with Edgar Sanders officiating. The burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery at Elkhorn.
