Charles Milton Walters

Charles Milton Walters age 81 passed away Saturday August 30th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Charles was born on Feb. 2nd, 1928 to his parents the late Thomas Kelly Walters and Dorothy M. Walters. He was the husband of Orma Jean Walters, a retired coal truck driver, and a member of the Old Church of Christ at Ford's Branch. Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas K. Walters,and one sister, Lucille Walters Combs. Along with his wife, Charles is survived by three sons, Thomas H. Walters, Sonny R. Walters, Charles R. Walters, all of Sookeys Creek, one brother, Donald Reed Walters of Ford's Branch, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday 9-2-2009 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bob Werntz and Bud Ford officiating. The burial will follow in the Ford's Branch Cemetery.
