Dixie Mae Cline age 85 passed away Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Dixie was born on January 30th, 1924 to her parents the late Wallace (Man) Blackburn and Dora Ratliff Blackburn. She was the wife of Mont Cline, a quilt maker, and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by two brothers, Wallace Blackburn and Glenn Blackburn. Along with her husband, Dixie is survived by two sons, Kenneth Cline of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., James Cline of Raccoon, Ky., four grandchildren, Candy Shields, Robert Cline, Rachelle Cokley, Chris Cline, six great-grandchildren, Charlie Cokley, Alexandra Cokley, Olivia Cline, Sarah Cline, Matthew Cline, Robert Cline Jr., and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday 4-17-2009 at 11a.m. at the Immanuel Baptist Church with Sam Crawford officiating. The burial will follow in the Cline Family Cemetery at Lower John's Creek.
