Geraldine Chapman

Geraldine Chapman, 78, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009 in Elkhorn City, KY. Geraldine was born on August 1st, 1931 to her parents the late Kelly Pugh and Callie Coleman. She was a bookkeeper for the Ky Highway Department, and a member of the Pikeville Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Johnson. Geraldine is survived by four sons, Roy Lee (Sandra) Chapman of Nancy, Ky., Larry David (Kathy) Chapman of Pikeville, Morgan (Brenda) Chapman of Pikeville, Hubey Meredith (Cindy) Chapman of Elizabethton, Tn., one daughter, Brenda Carol (David) Bevins of Phyllis, Ky., one brother, Charles Pugh of Johnson City, Tn., one sister, Lucille Rich of Pikeville,Ky., ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home Special services will be Monday and Tuesday at 7p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday 11-4-2009 at 11a.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Don Lee and Pikeville Freewill Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
