Priscilla Rowe Bryant

Priscilla Rowe Bryant age 81 passed away Sunday 1-24-2010 at her home. Priscilla was born on August 20th, 1928 to her parents the late Adam Rowe and Gracie Hill Rowe. She was the wife of the late Hillard Bryant, a homemaker, and a member of the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Priscilla was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Rowe, Theodore Rowe, & Truby Rowe, and three sisters, Flo Ruth Bryant, Benita Johnson, and Justine Stone. Priscilla is survived by three step sons, Shannon Bryant of Poor Bottom, Scottie Bryant of Powell's Creek, Shawn Bryant of Poor Bottom, one step daughter, Sheila Elkins of Pikeville, one brother, Wendell Douglas Rowe of Streamwood, Ill, five step grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Archie Price, Danny Belcher, Jack Lucas, and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
