Margie Little

Margie Little, age 78, passed away Sunday, April 12th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Margie was born on Dec. 2nd, 1930 to her parents the late Rev. Roy Sykes and Muncie Sykes. She was the wife of the late Glenn Little, a homemaker, and a member of Marrowbone Missionary Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Margie was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Ratliff, and one granddaughter, Janet Lee Little. Margie is survived by one son, Mike Little of Lookout, Ky., four brothers, Tommy Sykes of Ohio, Roy David Sykes of Bowling fork, Harold Sykes of Columbus, Ohio, Billy Sykes of Henry Clay, Ky., two sisters, Janice Mastin of Charlotte, N.C., Suzie Brooks of Knoxville, Tn., two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at Marrowbone Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 12 noon at Marrowbone Missionary Baptist Church with Roger Johnson officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
