Herman Belcher age 70 passed away Sunday, April 12th, 2009 at his home. Herman was born on August 14th, 1938 to his parents the late Willie and Nannie Belcher. He was the husband of Spicie Jean Mullins Belcher, a retired employee for Great Lakes Railcar Repair, and a member of Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Along with his parents, Herman was preceded in death by two brothers, Ermal Coleman, Kermit Belcher, and three sisters, Marie Malone, Floetta Belcher, and Alberta Stockard. Along with his wife, Herman is survived by one son, Danny Belcher of Knoxville, Tn, two daughters, Kimberly Bourassa of Taylor, Mi., Angela Rutherford of Dandridge, Tn., two sisters, Mae Burke of Allen Park, Mi., Jeanette Holland of Lookout, Ky., nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday April 15th, 2009 at 1p.m. at the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church with Robbie Osborne and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery at Dorton.
