Randy "Mailman" Coleman

Randy "Mailman" Coleman, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born on February 4, 1945, the son of the late Chris and Nora Prater Coleman. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by five brothers, Earl, Millis, Don, Gobel, and Marvin Coleman and by two sisters, Irene Coleman and Judy Branham. Before his retirement, Randy was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Mabel Coleman, by a daughter, Debra Meeks, by a son, Steven Coleman, and by three grandchildren, Olivia Meeks, Katelyn Coleman, and Emilee Meeks. A host of family and friends also survive. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Tommy Robinson Homeplace on Greasy Creek. Burial will follow in the Tommy Robinson Cemetery on Greasy Creek. Special services will be held at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday nights at 7 p.m.
