Alfred Hopkins

Alfred Hopkins age 46 passed away Friday April 10th, 2009 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center. Alfred was born on November 10th, 1962 to his parents Gerlean Hopkins and the late Basil Hopkins. He was a coal miner. Along with his father, Alfred was preceded in death by one nephew, Derek Shawn Hopkins. Along with his mother, Alfred is survived by one daughter, Deborah Prater of Shelbiana, Ky., one son, Sheldon Hopkins of Caney Hwy., one brother, Kevin Hopkins of Shelbiana, Ky., three sisters, Julie Kendrick of Shelbiana, Ky., Josephine Rowe of Rockhouse, Ky., Sheila Hopkins of Shelbiana, Ky., one grandchild, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Tuesday 4-14-2009 at 12 noon at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. The burial will follow in the Jerry Hopkins Cemetery at Greasy Creek
