Florence "Dolly" Clavette Lowe

December 30, 1935 — January 19, 2010

Departed this life on January 19, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. to begin her eternal life with Jesus. Surrounded by husband Joseph P. Lowe, son Ron (Roxane) Eiler, Berlin, WI, daughter Audrey Kifer and Grandson Dan Kifer, Oshkosh, WI (Grand daughter Mindy is serving in Iraq) family and friends, she finally defeated the long and courageous battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was a very strong woman and her faith and joy in Jesus never failed her, she fought hard, giving the Lord all the Glory for blessings she found in everything. Dolly was born December 30, 1935 in Big Falls, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bernard Sr. and Joyce Clavette and her two brothers, James and Bernard Jr., all formerly from Watson, MI. and later, Oshkosh, WI. She married her husband of 28 years in Los Angeles, CA. Family and friends observed what an example of Christian marriage they were, Joe wanted to be her care-giver and was the best. He doted on her every need and hearts desire making her feel like "the most blessed woman on earth.” Florence attended Watson Grade School, Watson, MI., Gwinn High School, Gwinn, MI., and graduated from Oshkosh High School, 1954, and retired from The Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Fl. in 1999. It was there she gave colon cancer a good fight, coming out victorious and giving Jesus all the Glory. She is also survived by Grand daughter Jodi (Steve) Justice, Abby and Jakob, Kissimmee FL, Step son Rhett (Lisa) Lowe, Forest and Leif, Gwinn, MI, sister June Sanville, Cornell, MI. and numerous nieces and nephews. While still able to get out and living in Oshkosh, she and her husband attended Church services at the Countryside Christian Church in Fisk, WI. Joe still attends services there. Prior to moving to Oshkosh, they were Lifetime Honorary Members of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Jacksonville. She will also be missed by her friends in FL and the rest of her family: Lonzo (Alicia) Lowe, Jennifer and Lisa, Sepulveda, CA, Hayes, Arthur (Sharon, Kevin, Kenny, Kyle and wives), Dover (Loretta, Shawn and Whitney and Shawn’s wife) all of Raccoon, KY, Victoria Meeks and son, Pikeville, KY, Helen Harrison and family of Jacksonville, FL., Lois Richardson and family, Iverness, FL., Novella, Brian, Carol and Tiffany Lowe of Howey-In-The–Hills, FL. Florence loved KY and her friends and family there, especially singings at the church. Services will be at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home – Westside on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev Gregory Decker officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established to Countryside Christian Church. There will be another service at the Freewill Baptist Church in Grassy Creek, Kentucky, officiated by a long time family friend, Morgan Chapman. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church. Special services will be Monday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday 01/26/2010 at 11 a.m. at the Grassy Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Bent Ridge Cemetery at Meta, Ky.
