Grey Cooper Coleman

Grey Cooper Coleman age 84 passed away Sunday, January 3rd, 2010 at the Mt. View Health Care Center. She was born on Dec. 27th, 1925 to her parents the late Hugh Cooper and Maude Grey and raised by Cordellia Cooper. She was the wife of the late Corbet Coleman, a hostess at the Landmark, a member of the Shelby United Methodist Church, and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 28. Along with her husband and parents, Grey was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Joe, and Herbert. Grey is survived by one son, Jesse C.(Janie) Stewart of Pikeville, one daughter, Elizabeth C. (Roy) Hudson of Dale City, Va., one brother, Don Cooper of Bluefield,VA, two grandchildren, Danny Charles Stewart and David Caysey Stewart, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Easter Star services will be Tuesday night at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday 01/06/2010 at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dale Brooks officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park. The family request in lieu of flowers, donations to the Shelby United Methodist Church.
