Harold Woodward

Harold Woodward, age 79 passed away Saturday January 16th, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Harold was born on January 8th, 1931 to his parents the late Frank Woodward and Grace Steele Woodward. He was a retired paper mill worker and he also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during Korean War. Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by one brother, Okie Woodward and one sister, Dorothy June Anderson. Harold is survived by one son, Tim Woodward of Brownstown, Mi., one daughter, Karen Dameworth of Wyandotte, Mi., one sister, Virginia Ratliff of Shelby Gap, Ky., one brother, Franklin Woodward of Pikeville, Ky., five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday 1-18-2010 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Hylton Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Steele Family Cemetery at Shelby Gap.
