Michael M. Gannon

Michael M. Gannon, 59 years old of Shepherdsville, KY, formerly of Pike County, passed away Tuesday May 15th, 2010 at the Jewish Hospital South. Michael was born September 9th, 1950 in Pike County to the late Elsie Kelly and Eddie Gannon. He was a truck driver and was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Besides his parents, Michael was preceded in death by two brothers, Verlon and Delano Gannon. He leaves behind his companion, Dorothy Adkins, a step-son, Wade Adkins, and two step-daughters, Andrea Spears and Dena Thacker. He is also survived by four sisters, Shirley Compton, Runell Gannon, Beredetta Kidd, and Madeline Gannon. Visitation will be at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home after 6 PM Thursday, May 27th. There will be special services at 7 PM. Funeral services will be at 12 Noon on Friday at the funeral home with Bobby Ray Robinson and others officiating. Burial will follow at the Hopkins Cemetery in Greasy Creek, KY.
