Millis Causey age 68 passed away Sunday, Dec. 20th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Millis was born on May 26th, 1941 to his parents the lte Floyd Causey and Lurlie Robinson Causey. He was the husband of the late Phyllis Justice Causey, a retired coal miner for Scott's Branch Coal co., and a member of the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with his wife and parents, Millis was preceded in death by three sisters. Millis is survived by two daughters, Tina (Brian) Ross of Greasy Creek, Terena (The Late Charles Jr.) Slone of Mullins, Ky., two sons, Brian Lesley (Susan) Causey of Kannapolis, N.C., Keith (Teresa) Causey of Teaberry, Ky., three brothers, Leon, Brendail, and Roy Lesley Causey, four sisters, Ina Mae Yates, Marlene Adkins, Gaynell Thacker, and Donna Jean Stevens, twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday 12-24-2009 at 10a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating. The burial will follow in the Mary Yates Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
