James M. Justice

James M. "Crow" Justice, age 64, of Phyllis, Ky, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at his residence. He was born on December 19, 1945, the son of the late Marchall and Cora Honaker Justice. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Before his retirement, James worked as a coalminer for the McCoy Elkhorn Coal Company and was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. He is survived by two daughters, Marlena Justice of Pikeville, KY, and Beverly Flagg of Lexington, KY, by a special niece, Patricia Dale Abbott, by two brothers, Donald J. Justice of Phyllis, Bufford Justice of Covington, by three sisters, Ollie Sams and Bonnie Sams, both of Covington, and Rosie Palmer of the state of Ohio, and by one grandchild, Darlene Anita Nicole Ryan Thompson. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Primitive Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery at Grapevine, KY. Special services will be held on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7 p.m.
