Tilda Mae Thacker

Tilda Mae Thacker, age 75, was called Home, Saturday, May 2nd, 2009. She was born on June 9th, 1933 to her parents the late Nelson James and Nora Justice James. She was the wife of the late Tilden Thacker. Along with her husband and parents, Tilda was preceded in death by five sisters, Rushie Harris, Lettie Belcher, Hattie Sexton, Lillie Mays , and Lizzie Prater, five brothers, Jesse, Rufus, Clinard, Clifton, and Ralph James. Tilda is survived by one son, Garrett Thacker of Elkhorn City, Ky., one daughter, Patricia Justice of Pikeville, Ky., one sister, Liza Church of Pikeville, Ky., two grandchildren, Joey Thacker and Bradley Justice, and three great-grandchildren, Josie, Gracie, and Kelsie Thacker, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday 5-5-2009 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Bobby and Billy Ratliff officiating. The burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Garden at Ivel.
