Elaine Lucas Chandler

Elaine Chandler age 83 passed away Thursday 2-11-2010 at her home. She was born on June 26th, 1926 to her parents the late LeeRoy Greer and Lula Smallwood Greer. She was the wife of the late Tom Chandler, a business owner, a member of the Jenkins Easter Star, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her husband and parents, Elaine was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Lucas, one brother, Orville Greer, and one sister, Irene Greer Powell. Elaine is survived by one son, Dave Lucas of Orlando, Fl., five grandchildren, Keith Lucas, Greg Lucas, Crystal Adkins, Holly Lucas, and Hannah Lucas. Visitation will be Saturday at 5p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday 2-14-2010 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Basil Hall officiating. The burial will follow in the L.R. Greer Cemetery at Beefhide.
