Donald (Dr. Don) Bevins

Donald Everett (Dr. Don) Bevins age 61 passed away Sunday 12-6-2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Don was born on Oct. 4th, 1948 to his parents Ruby Justice Bevins and the late Grady G. Bevins. He was the husband of Lehai Bevins, a radio personality for Gearheart Communications, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with his wife and mother, Don is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Maria (Kenneth Dwayne) Ray of Sanford, Florida, one step daughter, Yen Linh Trinh of Pikeville, Ky., four brothers, James Grady Bevins of Denver, Ky., Larry Dean Bevins of Pikeville, Ky., William Gene Bevins of Pikeville, Ky., Ronald Blake Bevins of Pikeville, Ky., three granddaughters, Hope Renea Olausen, Lindsay Nicole Ray, Gypsy Pearl Ray, one great-grandson, Halen James Olausen, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday 12-08-2009 at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Special services will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday 12-10-2009 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Willard Adams and others officiating. The burial will follow in the Bevins Family Cemetery on Upper Chloe.
