Oma Smallwood Trivette, age 82, of Regina, KY, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2009, at the Central Baptist Hopsital. She was born on September 6, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Adeline Holland Smallwood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Trivette, by a son, Johnny Simpkins, by two grandsons, Jeffrey Wayne Conway and James Noble Hall, by one sister, Bessie Newsome, three brothers, Bernie Smallwood, Ed Smallwood and Billy Ray Smallwood, and by one step-daughter. Oma was a homemaker and a member of the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Mary Conway of Mansfield, OH, Adeline Conway of Regina, KY, Cindy Burke of Myra, KY, and Loretta Combs of Marrowbone, KY, by eleven step-children, by one brother, Ernest Smallwood of Youngstown, OH, by two sisters, Emogene Mullins of Marrowbone, KY and Mildred Zabosky of Youngstown, OH, by seventeen grandchildren, fourty-six great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2009, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church with Jimmy Dale Sanders, Carson Wright and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. Special services will be held on Sunday and Monday nights at 7 p.m.
