Josephine B. Thacker

Josephine B. (Jo) Thacker age 71 passed away Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at the King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. Josephine was born on August 15th, 1937 to her parents the late Bascom Bevins and Arettia (Artie) Hess Bevins. She was the wife of the late Milton Thacker, a retired sales clerk, and a member of Cowpen Freewill Baptist Church since 1986. Josephine is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Marty) France of Caney Hwy., Patricia (Elmer Ray) Adams of Shelbiana, Ky., four brothers, Zollie Bevins of Chillicothe, Ohio, Jim (Connie) Bevins of Circleville, Ohio, Bill (Nancy) Bevins of Cleveland, Ohio, Bobby Bevins of Chillicothe, Ohio, one sister, Ruby Hutchinson of Circleville, Ohio, two grandchildren, Chasta (Dustin) Wright of Virgie, Ky., Milton "Boo" (Darlene) Ellis of Virgie, Ky., two great-grandchildren, Bailee "Boogie" Wright and Johauna Ellis, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday 4-27-2009 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Ed May officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
