Charles H. Damron

Charles H. Damron, 81, of Virgie, KY, passe away Friday December 11th, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1928 to the late Minnie McCown and Bona Damron. Charles was a truck driver for Adams Construction and a member of Pilgrim's Prayer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Roger Damron and one daughter, Deloris Damron. He leaves behind his wife, Virginia Mae Tackett Damron, two sons, Jackie Damron of Knoxville, TN and Randy Damron of Virgie, KY, and one daughter, Diana Damron of Virgie, KY. He is also survived by a brother, Moody Damron of Virgie, KY and three sisters, Beatrice Damron of Robinson Creek, KY, Cleo Tackett of Baltimore, MD, and Helen Adams of Baltimore, MD. He leaves behind four grandchildren and three great grandchildren along with a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home after 6 P.M. Saturday, December 12. Special services will be at 7 P.M. on Sunday. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. Monday December 14. Burial will follow in the Tackett Family Cemetery on Little Robinson Creek.
