Villa Tackett Little

Villa Tackett Little, age 85 of Long Fork, Virgie, KY passed away March 10, 2010 at the UK Medical Center. Villa was born February 13, 1925 to the late William and Susan Tackett. She was a homemaker and also a store owner at Cecil Little Grocery. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pikeville, KY. Besides her parents, Villa was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Warren Little, four half brothers, Orland, Ballard, Curtis, Infant brother and three half sisters, Golda, Edna, and Willa. She is survived by two daughters, Renina Hall and Sharetta Coleman, along with three granddaughters, Dana Jo Hall, Jill Coleman, and Melinda Coleman. Villa also leaves behind a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. Visitation will begin after 6 PM on Thursday March 11 at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 13 at 11 AM with Paul Badgett officiating. Burial will follow at the Little Family Cemetery in Long Fork, Virgie, KY.
