Robert Charles

Robert Lee Charles, better known as Bob, 78, of Phyllis, KY passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at his residence. Bob was born August 1, 1932 in Beckley, WV. He is the son of the late Dave and Margaret Charles. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two brothers: Jack and Tom Charles. Bob was a retired insurance adjuster. He was also a member of the Masonic lodge, a proud Kentucky Colonel, and an avid UK Wildcat basketball fan. Bob is survived by two sons, Michael Charles of Versailles, KY and Richard Charles of Gray, Georgia. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends who will miss him. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 3 PM in the Lucas and Son Funeral Home Chapel.
