Sam Bridgeman

Sam Bridgeman, 80 of Virgie, KY passed away December 11, 2010, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Sam was born March 24, 1930 to the late Henry Bridgeman and Ellie Ray Bridgeman. Sam was employed by the Walbash Smelting Plant in Walbash, Indiana. Sam is survived by his wife Jetta Mullins Bridgeman and one son Hank Bridgeman, and his girlfriend Melissa Barnette, of Jonancy, KY and one daughter Ginger (Edward) Laughary, of Jenkins, KY. Sam also leaves behind, one brother Eugene Bridgeman and two sisters, Irene Cole and Dina Cole. Sam had four grandchildren. Sam is preceded in death by two brothers Willard and Charlie Bridgeman and two sisters, Margaret Bridgeman, Leddie Gillispie and Katherine Sowards. Sam will be be missed by a host of family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday evening at 6 P.M. at the Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Special services will be held nightly at 7 P.M. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, at 1 P.M.
