Patricia May Johnson Hughes

Patricia May Johnson Hughes of Pikeville, KY passed away Wednesday April 21, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born in Letcher County, KY on October 22, 1951 to the late Ellis Johnson and Sabrina Craft Johnson. Patricia was a homemaker and member of the Trinity Harvest Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Hughes and one daughter, Sabrina Jane Hughes. Patricia was also preceded in death by one sister and one brother. She leaves behind two sons, Timothy Joel Hughes of Dickson, TN and Chadwick Hughes of Pikeville, KY. She's also survived by four sisters, Annette Potter of Elsmere, KY, Jeanette Napier of St. Augustine, FL, Sarah Burns of Huntindon, TN, and Margaret Seals of Senatobia, MS, one brother, Billy Johnson of Fleming Neon, KY, three grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, friends, and family. Patricia leaves behind a companion who meant so much to her, Rondle Bowens. Visitation will begin after 6 PM Friday, April 23 at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Special services will be held at 7 PM. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 1 PM with Pastor Richard Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Davidson Memorial Cemtery.
