Audrey C. Adkins

Audrey C. Adkins age 86 left this earth to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 14th, 2009. Audrey was born on Dec. 26th, 1922 to her parents the late Willie Coleman and Edith Coleman. She was the wife of the late Golen Adkins, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Audrey was preceded in death by one brother, Warren G. Coleman, and one sister, Helen Bowling. Audrey is survived by three sons, Larry (Dolores) Adkins of Sweetwater, Tn., Mike (Sandy) Adkins of Pikeville, Ronnie (Vicki) Adkins of Regina, Ky., two daughters, Donah (James) Justice of Columbus, Ohio, Linda (Bert) Belcher of Shelbiana, Ky., six grandchildren, James M., Larry Jr., Jeremy, Mikale, Shae, and Bill Tom, ten great-grandchildren, Donah Marie, JJ, Wesley, Dee, Macy, Ronnie Wayne, Devan, John, Jack, and Addison, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday 5-16-2009 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Mark Swan officiating. The burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
