Wanda Jean Coleman

Wanda Jean Coleman age 49 passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3rd, 2009 at her home. Wanda was born on April 8th, 1960 to her parents Bethel Slone Thacker and the late Arnold Thacker. She was the wife of Donald Gene Coleman, a nurse for Mt. Manor Nursing Home and Pikeville Medical Center, and a member of the Faith First Baptist Church. Along with her father, Wanda was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas K. Thacker. Along with her husband and mother, Wanda is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Michelle (Chris) Coleman of Shelbiana, Donna Beth Coleman of Shelbiana, Ky., one sister, Anita (Jason) Sword of Virgie, Ky., three brothers, Creed (Peggy) Thacker of Red Creek, Joey (Helen) Thacker of Red Creek, Greg (Patsy) Thacker of Shelbiana, Ky., three grandchildren, Kristin D. Coleman, Gina L. Coleman, Emily D. Coleman, 11 nieces, 11 nephews, 3 great-nieces, 3 great nephews, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Faith First Baptist Church. The funeral will be Friday 11-6-2009 at 11a.m. at the Faith First Baptist Church with Nick Damron officiating. The burial will follow in the Coleman Family Cemetery.
