Dempsie Bolden

Dempsie Bolden, 73, of Kimper, KY passed away Friday June 5, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1936 to the late Auda and Ada Justice Bolden. He was preceded in death by one sister, Augustie Bryant. Surviving Dempsie is his wife, Bertha Ratliff Bolden and two daughters, Sharon Bolden Slone of Kimper, KY and Joan Snider of Port Clinton, OH. He also leaves behind four brothers, Auda Jr. (Veronica) Bolden, Roger (Helen) Bolden, Paul (Sonja) Bolden, Delmer (Donna) Bolden and seven sisters, Geneva (Nathaniel Jr.) Coleman, Lottie (Vinton) Slone, Loretta (Benny) Adkins, Patty Sue (Virgil) Maynard, Jaunita (Bobby) Adkins, Audrey (Bob) Lathroy, and Joshephine Harris. He also leaves behind three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation for Dempsie will be Sunday night, June 7, 2009 after 6 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 1 PM at the Cedar Bottom Old Regular Baptist Church.
