Lewis Edward Richardson

Lewis Edward Richardson, age 76, passed away Tuesday, June 9th, 2009 at home. Lewis was born on April 23rd, 1933 to his parents the late Roy Richardson and Laura Richardson. He was the husband of Patricia Richardson, retired self employed Flanery's Restaurant, and a member of the Masonic Lodge , Shrine Lodge, and Ky. Colonel. He was a member of the Baptist Church and he also served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Along with his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Richardson. Along with his wife, Lewis is survived by one son, Larry Richardson of Caney Creek, two daughters, Carolyn Mullins of Robinson Creek, Vanessa Looney of Pikeville, one step son, Tommy Hankins of Leesburg, Al., six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday June 12th, 2009 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with John Vance officiating. The burial will follow in the Flower Gap Cemetery at Black Water, Va.
