John Anderson

John Anderson age 52 passed away Wednesday, June 10th, 2009 at his home. John was born on Sept. 12th, 1956 to his parents the late Gene Anderson and Guessie Johnson Anderson. He was the husband of Joanna Anderson, a retired electrician, and a member of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by one sister, Vonda Gene Anderson. Along with his wife, John is survived by one daughter, Hollie Maria Baker of Titusville, Fl., three sons, Johnathan Lee Anderson of Jenkins, Ky., Matthew Harold Anderson of Shelby Gap, Thomas Daniel Anderson of Shelby Gap, five brothers, Thomas Anderson and Roger Anderson both of Shelby Gap, Ira Anderson of Buckfield, Archie Anderson of Vader, Washington, Joseph Anderson of Coeburn, Va., two sisters, Sally Wright of Dorton, Ky., Rita Riddle of Pikeville, seven grandchildren, Jondra and Alyssa Adkins, Steven Ford and Paxton Todd Anderson, Johnny, Benjamin, and Samantha Baker, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 1p.m. at the Hylton Freewill Baptist Church with Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery.
