Billy Ray Childers

Billy Ray Childers age 58 passed away Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 at his home. Billy was born on October 9th, 1950 to his parents the late Johnny Andrew Childers and Roxie Reese Childers. Along with his parents, Billy was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Rose Beech, Pamela Childers, and five brothers, John Dewayne Childers, Jackie Childers, Gary Childers, Larry Childers, and Donnie Childers. Billy is survived by two brothers, Bobby Childers of Belcher, Ky., Benny Childers of Pikeville, Ky., three sisters, Joyce Marie Spencer of Dixon, Texas, Vivian Doris Bowens of Alleghany, Ky., Anna Louvern Shepperd of Blufton, Indiana, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Alleghany Freewill Baptist Church. The funeral will be Friday at 12 noon at the Alleghany Freewill Baptist Church with Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. The burial will follow in the Robinson Cemetery at Hellier, Ky.
