Alma Mae (Matney) Sullivan

Alma Mae (Matney) Sullivan, age 86 of Feds Creek, Ky passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Alma was born in Pike County, Ky on February 27, 1932 to her mother Betty Mutter Stump. Alma was a retired Secretary from Clintwood Elkhorn Mining Company and she was a member of the Mountain View Church of Christ at Lick Creek, Kentucky.  Alma was preceded in death by her mother Betty (Mutter) Stump, her loving husband Warren G. Sullivan and precious grandson, Warren Thomas Prater. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Matney, Raymond Matney and Charlie Jr. Stump. Alma is survived by her seven children, Dottie Prater (Tommy)  Feds Creek ,Ky; Ronald Sullivan (Lisa) Russell Springs, Ky; Cindy Matney (Dick) Phyllis, Ky; Roy Dean Sullivan, Feds Creek, Ky, William Robin Sullivan, Feds Creek, Ky ; Homer Sullivan (Becky) Mouthcard, Ky; Stewart Sullivan (Tammie) Phyllis, Ky. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Bernard Sullivan (Lisa) St Augustine, Fl; Meigan Retic (Ken) Louisville, Ky; Raechelle June Freeman (Jesse) Steele, Ky; Allison Brewer (Neil) Phyllis, Ky; Clay Sullivan (Kim) Pikeville, Ky; Haley Sullivan, Nashville, TN; Tyra Sullivan, Feds Creek, Ky; Shannon Matney (Tara) Elkhorn City, Ky; J.T. Thompson (Brittany) Mouthcard, Ky; Ryan Caudill (Michelle) Mouthcard, Ky;.  Seven Great Grandchildren, Lincoln Sullivan, Macon Brewer, Avery Brewer, Caleb Sullivan, Holly Freeman, Ariel Hopkins, Shannon Isaac Matney.  Survived by four brothers, Floyd Stump, Jr., Roger Stump, Gary Stump, Larry Stump,  five sisters, Sylvia Jean Moore, Margaret Justice, Louise Christian, Kay Anderson, and Loreen Varney and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Sunday, April 29, 2018, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, April 30, 2018, 1:00PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Frank Crum officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Va.
