Alvin Conway

Alvin Conway, age 88, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Alvin was born on Dec. 27, 1935 to his parents the late James Paris Conway and Dora Thacker Conway.  Alvin was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.

     Along with his parents, Alvin was preceded in death by one sister, Reba May Cochran, and by his two brothers, Paris Preston Conway and John Dewey Conway.

    Alvin is survived by one brother Dave Conway, one sister, Kathy (Tommy) Webb of Red Creek, Ky., He also leaves behind a host of loving nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

     Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Paul Huffman, Dan Thacker and others officiating.  Burial will follow at the Huffman Cemetery on left fork of Red Creek.
