Ama Bentley

     Ama Hopkins Bentley, age 67, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, surrounded by family.  Ama was born on September 5, 1956, to her parents Loretta Osborne Hopkins and the late Richard Hopkins.  She was the wife of Keith Bentley and was the retired owner of Appalachian States Analytical.  
     Along with her husband, Ama is survived by four sons: Vince Bowman, Lee Bowman, Matthew Bentley, Todd Bentley; two sisters: Peggy Brewer, Sharon Damron; seven grandchildren; and host of loving family and friends. Ama had a generous and kind heart, loved fiercely, and made everyone feel like family. 
      There will be a celebration of life Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Long Fork Community Park in Virgie, KY.
