Arlene Williams

Arlene Williams, age 79, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Signature Health Care Center.  Arlene was born on March 25, 1939 to her parents the late Russell Thacker and Maggie Norman Thacker.  She was the wife of the late Elmer Kelly (Buddy) Williams, a retired cook at four sixty restaurant and retired owner of Buddy's Place restaurant,  and a member of the Red Creek Church of God. Along with her husband and parents, Arlene was preceded in death by one son, Billy Thacker, and two brothers, Foster Lee Thacker and Cornelius Thacker.Arlene is survived by one daughter, Tina (Matthew) Adkins, two sisters, Lois Adkins, Amy Jean Thacker, and two granddaughters, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with church services starting at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday August 10, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Alfred Adkins and Matthew Adkins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
