Arlin Taylor

Arlin Taylor passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at his home.  Arlin was born to his parents the late Walter Taylor and Stella Ramey Taylor.  He was the husband of the late, Helen Kinder Taylor, a  retired mechanic and welder for Canada Coal Company and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.     Along with his wife and parents,  Arlin was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Hurley and Claude Clevinger, and two sisters, Magdalene Hurley, and Pauline Hurley.     Arlin is survived by one son, Eddie Arlin (Maudie) Taylor, four grandchildren, Shedawn Blankenship, Brandon Taylor, Atonya Kinder, Brian Kinder, five great grandchildren, Rylan Blankenship, Molly Blankenship, Gage Wilson, Cameron Wilson, McKenna Wilson, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jerry Overstreet, Larry Puckett, Phil Hines, Toy Looney, and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana.
