Barbara Jo Adkins

Barbara Jo Adkins, age 76, of Shelbiana, KY passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at her residence.  Barbara was born in Pike County, Ky. to her parents the late Miles Justice and Cora Justice. Barbara was a Homemaker and of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Barbara was the wife of Abram Adkins.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Scotty Adkins, four brothers and two sisters.Barbara is survived by her husband, Abram Adkins, one son, Silas Eugene Adkins (Leshia), one brother, Ervin Keene, five sisters, Gaynell, Maxine, Billie, Jettie, Geraldine, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and daughter in law, Diana Adkins and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2018, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church Services Friday and Saturday at 7:00 PM.Funeral will be Sunday, August 12, 2018,  11:00 AM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY.
